The Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team seeks a UK‑based Radar Instructor to support our sensor systems portfolio. This role delivers operator and advanced maintenance training at Fordham, UK, Gothenburg, Sweden, and customer sites worldwide. The instructor will develop training material, assist in technical publications and support demonstrations, trials and other market‑growth activities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on various sensor systems.
- Administer and report on training events.
- Operate and fault‑find customer sensor systems to enhance training.
- Solicit, compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
- Provide subject‑matter expert advice on system and software development.
- Contribute to sensor technical publications.
- Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market‑growth activities.
- Motivated, critical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills in a complex, customer‑facing environment.
- Strong team player with the ability to manage individual workload.
- Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
- Teaching or instructional experience.
- Technical customer‑facing experience demonstrating problem‑solving and leadership under pressure.
- Computer literate.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally (up to 3 weeks per training event).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Classified tasks require a UK or Swedish citizenship and National Security Vetting clearance to SC level, or ability to obtain it.
- ONC/HNC level or equivalent experience in a technical area; prior military experience or exposure is an asset.
