Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, interpret, and analyze geophysical data (SSS/SBP/MAG) to produce accurate maps and models of sub-seafloor geology.
- Produce required reports during or at the end of operations.
- Perform data processing and produce preliminary and final reporting products.
- Support the RepCo/P&R Sup. in generating required reports.
- Report to the P&R Mngr and liaise with the P&R Sup./RepCo for project-related matters.
- Ensure final deliverables meet company quality standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geophysics, geology, or related field; solid onshore geophysicist profile.
- Experience with Sonarwiz/CODA/Oasis Montaj processing suite (or similar).
- Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS) and QA/QC of SSS/SBP/MAG data.
- Offshore experience preferred.
- Familiarity with geological/geophysical equipment helpful.
- Good written and oral English skills.
- Ability to travel freely and right to live and work in the UK.
