Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, interpret, and analyze geophysical data (SSS/SBP/MAG) to produce accurate maps and models of sub-seafloor geology.
  • Produce required reports during or at the end of operations.
  • Perform data processing and produce preliminary and final reporting products.
  • Support the RepCo/P&R Sup. in generating required reports.
  • Report to the P&R Mngr and liaise with the P&R Sup./RepCo for project-related matters.
  • Ensure final deliverables meet company quality standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geophysics, geology, or related field; solid onshore geophysicist profile.
  • Experience with Sonarwiz/CODA/Oasis Montaj processing suite (or similar).
  • Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS) and QA/QC of SSS/SBP/MAG data.
  • Offshore experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with geological/geophysical equipment helpful.
  • Good written and oral English skills.
  • Ability to travel freely and right to live and work in the UK.
