Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice during tenders and offer high-level technical support during mobilisation, operations, and demobilisation.
- Support project managers with client meeting preparation and technical dispute resolution.
- Respond to daily technical operational queries from the field.
- Maintain focus on quality, health, safety, and environment in all activities.
- Review technical specifications during tender and operational activity.
- Support the commercial team with technical support for tenders when required.
- Assist the asset manager in selecting suitable survey equipment.
- Support the P/L team in selecting the correct personnel for specific requirements.
- Provide expert advice and clarify project specifications and scopes of work.
- Act as the technical authority and support the PM during technical disputes with clients or equipment suppliers.
- Review DPR/Minutes from meetings, offering insight into technical issues or queries.
- Review technical spreadsheets.
- Attend regular technical meetings to offer input and support.
- Support tendering activities where necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Solid project surveyor experience with a strong technical background and good commercial acumen.
- Ability to communicate views clearly and assertively.
- Experience in an offshore role is beneficial.
- Degree or relevant experience in a survey-based discipline.
- Experience working closely with tender teams and project managers/operational teams.
- Experience with blue-chip, high-profile clients.
- Experience working in a multinational organisation.
