What will you do in this position?
SA is currently recruiting a GEOPHYSICIST to join our client’s team in UK (East coast). This vacancy is offered as a permanent contract on a full‑time basis, directly employed by our client. Geophysicist is responsible for collecting, processing, interpreting, and analysing geophysical data (SSS/SBP/MAG) acquired to produce accurate and informative maps and models of the sub‑seafloor geology.

Qualifications
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geophysics, geology, or a related field (experience in the offshore survey industry may be considered).
- Experience with Sonarwiz/CODA/Oasis Montaj processing suite; similar software may be considered.
- Ability to QA/QC SSS/SBP/MAG data.
- Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Offshore experience preferred.
- Familiarity with geological/geophysical equipment is helpful.
- Good written and oral English.
- Ability to travel freely.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce reports required during or at the end of operations.
- Process data (SSS/SBP/MAG) and produce preliminary/final reporting products.
- Support the RepCo & P&R Supervisor for report production.
- Report to the P&R Manager.
- Liaise with the P&R Supervisor/RepCo on project matters.
- Ensure deliverables meet company quality standards.
