About the Position:
The Cable Installation Engineer will support project execution, ensuring technical requirements are met. The role alternates between office work in Gorinchem (preparation phase) and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for the Project Manager, project team, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and implement working methods with risk analysis.
- Provide coordination and advice for technical issues.
- Supervise subcontractors and review their documentation.
- Confirm that work instructions, methods, and drawings have been issued and are controlled.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Maritime Infrastructure.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the offshore wind industry.
- Experience supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independent, practical, creative problem-solver who thrives in project teams.
- Willingness to travel abroad regularly for short or long periods.
