Job Summary:

SA is currently recruiting for a Data Processing and Reporting Supervisor to join our client’s team in UK (East coast). This vacancy is offered as a permanent contract on a full-time basis directly employed by our client. It is a fast-growing survey contractor with activities in geophysical and geotechnical surveys mainly in Europe Mediterranean Sea and North Sea, both shallow and deep waters. Responsibilities:

  • You will be reporting directly to the Data Processing Department Manager.
  • You will directly manage a team of 6 more people.
  • You work hand in hand with the Project Managers and you have regular contact with the offshore team onboard.
  • You are ultimately responsible for the QC of all data produced and for reports issued to the Final Client on projects.
  • You are responsible for onshore and offshore data production, interpretation and reporting of the supervised project, ensuring data is acquired and reported on time to the expectations of the client, and in line with the project specifications.
  • You will technically contribute to the formulation of tenders, giving technical solutions and defining the survey team required for each project.
  • You will directly interface with the Final Client for the technical aspects of the projects you are assigned with your team.
  • You instruct the RepCo and the offline project team to the P&R project set of requirements.
  • You provide guidance and support for P&R to the Subcontractors.
  • You attend project specific meetings and provide input for close out and lessons learned.
  • You provide a continuous overview of project status from a P&R perspective to P&R Department Manager and Project Manager.
  • You ensure that final deliverables are in line with the company Quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • You are a true team motivator, able to make an impact and lead your team to deliver each and every project to success.
  • You are a technical expert in your field, with several years of experience you can analyze the technical and operational aspects of the project.
  • You are a committed resource, loyal and dedicated to your team. You have previous experience in managing a small team.

Must Have:

  • Must have right to live and work in UK.
  • Strong geological and geophysical qualification (good understanding of geotechnical surveys is preferred).
  • Advanced GIS knowledge.
  • Ability to QA/QC (advanced level) at least 2 of the main acquisition techniques (MBES/SSS/MAG/SBP/GEOT).
  • Ability to interpret geophysical, geological and geotechnical data.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
  • At least 10 years’ offshore experience.
  • Must be able to travel freely.
