Who We Are

What will you do in this position?

As a Scanfish Engineer, you will work closely with the team to acquire, QC, and process geophysical data including SSS, SBP, magnetometer, and EIVA Scanfish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate mobilization and demobilization of online and offline survey spreads.
  • Maintain and repair survey equipment.
  • Lead deployment and recovery of survey equipment from vessels.
  • Assist with or lead mobilization, calibration, and demobilization of vessels.
  • Author, update, and follow work instructions and procedures on a variety of geophysical survey work.
  • Ensure adherence to QHSSE policies and practices.

Who are you?

  • Degree in Marine Surveying.
  • Experience on multiple project types including UXO projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to global project locations.
  • Capability to work with hull‑mounted equipment.
  • Ability to generate a safe and quality‑based culture within the team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player able to form working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Must Have
  • Experience with EIVAScanfish, hull‑mounted MBES.
