We are seeking a Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving the company’s commercial growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across target markets.
Responsibilities include generating revenue through the promotion of the organisation’s managed IT support, P3M, technical services, cyber security, and network management solutions, and ensuring services are aligned to customer needs and strategic objectives.
The postholder will build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding client challenges, operational requirements, and compliance obligations.
Working collaboratively with existing bid management, operational and leadership teams, the BDM will develop tailored proposals and solutions that demonstrate value, service quality, and customised outcomes.
The role will also involve market analysis, pipeline management, lead generation, bid support, and representation of the company at networking events, industry forums, and customer meetings.
A strong focus on customer engagement, commercial awareness, and achievement of sales targets will be essential, alongside maintaining a clear understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and relevant industry standards and compliance regulations.

- Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Experience of generating new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, networking, and relationship development.
- Experience of managing the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
- Experience of developing customer-focused solutions and commercial proposals in collaboration with technical teams.
- Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Experience of presenting solutions and proposals to customers at varying levels of seniority, and handling and managing objections.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, opportunities, forecasting, and customer engagement activity.
- Experience of working within a target-driven commercial environment.
- Hold or be able to hold relevant Security Clearances.
