SA Equip is building a dedicated team to deliver Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) and Fume Control support at Hinkley Point C — one of Europe's largest construction sites. We're looking for an LEV Technician to join our team as we mobilise for a long-term, multi-year contract.
No LEV experience? No problem. This is our entry-level role and the first step on a clear career path — LEV Technician, through to LEV Engineer, through to Senior LEV Engineer — with training provided all the way.
What you'll do
- Carry out routine checks, filter changes and basic upkeep of ventilation and extraction equipment
- Support our LEV Engineers with installation, commissioning and testing work
- Keep our site base (storage container, office cabin, welfare facilities) in good order
- Get hands-on training and build towards a recognised LEV qualification
What we're looking for
- A practical, safety-conscious approach — trade, maintenance or general operative background is useful but not essential
- Willingness to learn and work towards further qualifications
- A satisfactory Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Ability to pass nuclear site security vetting for access to Hinkley Point C (we'll support you through this)
- A CCNSG Safety Passport is ideal — if you don't already have one, we can support you to get one before you start
