We are a specialist business development agency that works exclusively within the marketing industry. For nearly eight years we have partnered with boutique digital, creative, brand and performance marketing agencies, helping them generate new business opportunities and connect with brands looking for agency support. We are a small, ambitious team currently made up of three people and are now looking to grow. About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will represent a portfolio of marketing, creative and digital agencies. Your role will focus on identifying opportunities, speaking directly with senior decision makers at brands, and booking qualified meetings for our agency clients. The role combines outbound sales, relationship building and account management. You will be expected to quickly learn about our partner agencies, their services and their sectors so you can confidently represent them in conversations with brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold calling and outbound prospecting to brands and organisations
- Speaking with senior decision makers including Heads of Marketing, Brand and Digital
- Booking qualified meetings and opportunities for our agency clients
- Representing multiple marketing, creative and digital agencies
- Building strong relationships with both clients and prospective brands
- Managing a portfolio of agency clients and maintaining regular communication
- Supporting the sales process from initial conversation through to proposal and pitch stages
- Contributing to business growth through consistent pipeline generation
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous sales or business development experience (B2B or B2C)
- Confidence and resilience when making outbound calls
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the sales process and pipeline management
- A strong work ethic and self‑motivated attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and confidently represent clients
