Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver training sessions for the girl’s football team.
- Manage the teams on match days.
- Players receive weekly training on Tuesday mornings, playing in the AoC Yorkshire & Humberside leagues and North Yorkshire School’s competitions on Wednesday afternoons.
- Work hours as needed to discharge duties effectively, including attendance during term-time for:
- Fixtures or training sessions on a Wednesday afternoon.
- An additional one and a half hour practice session on Tuesday morning 11.30am – 1pm.
- Carrying out preparation, administration, and meeting with the Sports Coordinator where necessary.
- Some weeks will require a longer time commitment (e.g., for away fixtures) and other weeks much shorter (e.g., cancelled fixtures or examination study periods).
Terms and Conditions
- The successful candidate will be appointed to scale point 10 of the College’s Support Staff pay spine, currently paid at £27,733 p.a. for full time.
- Actual salary will be pro-rata to the hours and weeks worked and includes a pro-rata payment for holidays (e.g., approx. £2,051 for 5 hours per week).
- This contract will be on a permanent basis for an average of 5 hours per week, starting as soon as the successful candidate is available following recruitment and safeguarding checks.
- Salary payments are made monthly by credit transfer in arrears on the last business bank day of the month.
- Salary for term-time staff is paid in equal monthly instalments over the year and includes a payment for pro-rata entitlement to annual leave and public holidays.
- You will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
