We’re looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team at S5 Agency World.
Someone who enjoys turning data into insight, spotting trends, challenging assumptions and helping the business make better decisions.

The role
This is a broad and hands‑on Finance role where you will help us understand how the business is performing, what is driving the numbers and where we can improve.
You will work across our international organisation and have regular contact with Finance, Operations, Commercial teams and management.
What will you be doing?
You will support the Finance Manager and wider business with:
- Budgeting and rolling forecasts across our international business
- Monthly management reporting and performance analysis
- Analysing actual results against budget, forecast and prior periods
- Understanding the drivers behind revenue, margins, costs and profitability
- Reviewing performance by customer, region, service and port call
- Monitoring cash flow, working capital and key financial indicators
- Developing and improving financial and operational KPIs
- Preparing clear reports and insights for management
- Working with budget holders and business teams to understand performance and follow up on actions
- Improving and automating recurring reporting and analysis
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in wider Finance projects and help us improve the way we use data across the business.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you have:
- Around 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management accounting, commercial finance or a similar role
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- A good understanding of P&L, margins and financial performance
- Experience with Power BI or Power Query would be a plus
- Experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems
- Good written and spoken English
- A degree or equivalent background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
Experience within shipping, maritime, logistics or another international service business would be helpful, but is not essential.
