Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with digital content systems, archives, information management and continuous improvement in a fast-paced media environment. Your contribution will be vital as S4C continues to develop as a publisher of multi-platform content, and as we unlock the value of our extensive archive collection. As an Archive & Content Delivery Officer you will be passionate about digital media, archive and content systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of S4C's Digital First strategy, managing content across a variety of platforms and helping to shape the future of one of the UK's most important media archives. You will play a key role in conveying and managing the content commissioned by S4C, as well as the content in the channel's extensive archive.

As S4C continues its transformation into a multi-platform content publisher, digital systems, workflow and content management are at the heart of everything we do within the Content Archive and Delivery Team.

You will report to the Archive and Content Delivery Lead within S4C's Content Operations Department.

Location: Central Square, Cardiff (minimum 2 days in office).

Salary: Β£30,000.00 per annum

Agreement:Permanent

Working hours:35.75 per week. Due to the nature of the job, flexibility, including working outside office hours, is expected on some weekends and bank holidays.

Probationary period:3 months

  • Holidays: In addition to the statutory bank holiday, you will be entitled to 26 days of holiday. If you are employed part-time you will receive a pro rata portion of the leave.
  • Pension:Salaried staff are entitled to joining a Group Personal Pension Scheme is subject to the terms of any scheme in existence as amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You are expected to contribute 5%.
  • Travel: Occasional travel will be part of the job, usually within the United Kingdom
