S4A Group Ltd is a leading provider of PE education and Wraparound Care. We are looking for a Sports Coaching Apprentice to join our team and build the skills and experience needed to progress into a full‑time Lead Coach role. This role will require you to travel around local schools in the Buckingham area and surrounding villages.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Lead Coaches to deliver fun, structured PE lessons in primary schools.
- Assisting with lunchtime clubs, after‑school activities and holiday camps.
- Helping to set up, check, and pack away equipment to ensure sessions run smoothly and safely.
- Supporting positive behaviour and engagement, helping children stay involved and enjoy sessions.
- Learning how to adapt activities to suit different ages and ability levels.
- Assisting with basic admin such as registers and session information, where required.
- Taking part in training, shadowing experienced coaches, and completing apprenticeship coursework.
Progression Pathway:
This apprenticeship is designed to support you in developing the skills, confidence, and experience needed to progress into a Lead Coach role within S4A, subject to performance and vacancies.
