Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the Named Veterinary Surgeon(s) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines * Develop and maintain expertise in laboratory animal science and related disciplines through ongoing education and training * Provide veterinary cover for animal units and clinical services at the facilities * Support the implementation of new techniques, procedures, and technologies to enhance animal care and welfare * Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of care and professionalism within the company * Provide advice and assistance to staff on the implementation of the three Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) principles * Deputise for senior veterinary staff as needed and support staff training and development * Comply with regulatory, quality, and health and safety procedures, including maintaining records and obtaining necessary accreditations Job Requirements: * Veterinary degree with professional registration with the RCVS * Experience in general practice or laboratory animal care, including surgical skills * Excellent interper…
