We are on the lookout for a Junior Biomedical Scientist to join our client who is an independent clinical testing laboratory. They provide pathology diagnostic services across the healthcare sector and are proud to be able to provide fast results for their clients and patients. Our client is looking for a multi-disciplinary Junior Biomedical Scientist (HCPC registered) to join their team on a full-time basis as soon as possible. You will need to be HCPC registered and have at least one year experience in a Laboratory. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting and supporting Biomedical Scientists * Specimen reception management * Temperature monitoring * Laboratory stock control and ordering * Disposing of chemical and biological waste * Answering telephone enquiries * Keeping and filing records Job Requirements: * Must be HCPC registered * PCR experience is preferred * Good understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) * Good data input skills * At least one year experience in Blood Sciences This role is offering a great starting salary of £28,000 – £32,000, starting ASAP.
