Animal Technician Are you an Experienced Animal Technician looking for your next role in a successful, well-known facility? We have an incredible, urgent opportunity for an Animal Technician to join our world-leading client in Coventry, working with rodents and aquatics. Our client is looking for a hard-working candidate to join their successful team, assisting in the day-to-day life science research around wellbeing and human behaviour. They have recently expanded and opened a new research facility, giving you the opportunity to join their friendly, eager team. Duties and Responsibilities * To work as part of a team to ensure the maintenance of animal cages/tanks * Health checking of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc. * Assist senior staff with their roles as requested * Ensuring areas, surfaces and equipment are as clean and sterile as possible to prevent the introduction or spread of disease and infection Person Specification * You must have previous experience working with animals in a research environment specifically rodents and aquatics * You must have knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare Due to the urgency of this role, it will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you are interested, apply today so you don't miss out
