Bioprocessing Scientist £35,000 – £40,000 We are looking for an experienced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a (GMP) environment, contributing directly to the production of pharmaceutical products. Your Key Responsibilities As a Bioprocessing Scientist, you will: * Execute production processes using aseptic techniques to ensure the manufacture of high-quality sterile products * Maintain compliance with GMP standards in a cleanroom environment * Monitor and maintain the GMP facility, including routine cleaning and environmental monitoring * Oversee stock control and inventory management, ensuring timely ordering and appropriate storage of materials * Support technology transfer activities as new processes are introduced into manufacturing * Perform thorough documentation and ensure data integrity in accordance with GMP practices * Take part in root cause analysis and risk assessments * Participate in planning to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. * Deliver high standards of compliance training to operational teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you’ll need: * A degree in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory experience * Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a preference for biologics or aseptic processes * A strong understanding of GMP and aseptic manufacturing practices * Practical experience in sample preparation and analysis * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to work with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) If you’re ready to apply your skills and knowledge to a challenging and rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you.
