We are on the lookout for Experienced Animal Technicians in the Milton Keynes area. Join our client in making ground-breaking discoveries in scientific research with the opportunity to work hands-on with animals in a dynamic research facility where every day brings the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, watering, and ensuring the welfare of the animals are in line with Home Office and GMP regulations.
- Conduct health checks and room checks.
- Perform Paracox QC testing (oocyst counts) following SOPs and GMP compliance.
- Assist with regulated procedures when required.
- Be responsible for cleaning rooms and workspaces.
- Raising of deviations in the Quality Management System and completion of related documentation.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a research facility with rodents.
- Experience in animal husbandry and competent in health checks.
- Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System.
- Home Office License (preferred).
- Knowledge of Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986.
This opportunity is a 12-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.
