Animal Technician
We are working with a leading research institute based on the outskirts of London. Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Animal Technician to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of our cutting-edge research facility.
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to animal health barrier procedures to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and biosecurity
- Daily husbandry of animals
- Carrying out health checks on small animals
- General maintenance of the facility
- Handling cage preparation, distribution, and general housekeeping duties within the facility
What weβre looking for:
- A minimum of 5 A*-C or 9-4 GCSEs or an equivalent qualification in science
- A genuine interest in animal care and welfare
