SynX Therapeutics discovers next-generation medicines with non-natural biology. We engineer biology, run high-throughput experiments, and integrate AI to build an ultra-rapid lab-in-the-loop platform for drug discovery. Our SynPeps™ combine the targeting precision of biologics with PK/delivery properties closer to small molecules, unlocking therapeutic opportunities that antibodies and small molecules cannot reach. We've raised $3.2M from leading technology entrepreneurs, VCs, and through government grants.

The role involves working directly with the founders on various matters: hiring, special projects, operations, and fundraising. You will own outcomes end-to-end, solve unfamiliar problems, get things done, and help us communicate credibly with collaborators, funders, and future teammates. You will engage with the science in a deeply technical organisation.

What you will do:

• Hiring: Enable us to scale rapidly by running hiring rounds end-to-end with the founders, and building the pipeline and process behind them.
• Special projects: Take projects from problem definition to plan, then decision, and own delivery: budget, milestones, and coordinating any external stakeholders.
• Operations: Drive finance, procurement, legal, and HR processes in a growing team.
• Communications: Build investor and partner materials, draft grant proposals, and shape our public presence.

What you bring:

• Life science literacy: You have a strong academic record, thrive in a deeply technical environment, and can work with complex life science topics.
