The Opportunity
The S2 Partnership is looking to expand its expert team of professional consultants and therefore, we are seeking an experienced home-based Health & Safety and Fire Consultant, located in Greater Manchester area, to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to undertake general health and safety and fire risk assessments together with consultancy support and advice to our clients in the commercial and residential property sector.
Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work life balance. There will be a requirement to travel to our sites with this role, so you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle for travel to sites.

Competencies and Experience
You will have:
- High level qualification and relevant experience in H&S, Environmental Health, Fire, or related subject.
- Experience in undertaking site based H&S / Fire Risk Assessments.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes.
- Proven technical ability.
- Good report writing, IT and communication skills.
Desirable professional memberships:
- Chartered Membership of IOSH CertIOSH.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
- Member of IFE.
- Member of IFSM.
