The Role:
We’re looking for a full-time Accounts Administrator (35 hours per week) to join our friendly and supportive accounts team, embracing hybrid working. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth and accurate delivery of day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Credit control - actively managing outstanding debt, including chasing overdue invoices and resolving payment queries
- Raising and processing customer invoices and payments
- Processing expense claims
- Updating & maintaining accurate records in our internal systems
- Performing other ad-hoc work within the accounts department
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a similar role, preferably within a small to medium sized business where you will have gained a range of experience of the accounts function. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of using an accounts package like Sage 50, Sage Intacct or similar
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Self-motivation and enjoy variety in your work
- Value being part of a close-knit, collaborative team
