Staff One is currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our growing agency team across South Yorkshire. If you are an experienced Senior Care Assistant looking for flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to choose when and where you work, we would love to hear from you.
As an agency worker, you will have the freedom to pick up shifts that fit around your lifestyle while supporting a range of residential care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services throughout Doncaster.
The Role
- Leading and supporting Care Assistants on shift
- Administering and recording medication
- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
- Completing care records and handover documentation
- Supporting service users with dignity, respect, and independence
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health and wellbeing
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, relatives, and management teams
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures are followed at all times
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant
- Experience with medication administration
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
- Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date mandatory training certificates preferred
