Staff One is currently recruiting Female Domiciliary Care Assistants to support clients in the Barnsley area. This is a rewarding role supporting individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence while receiving high-quality, person-centred care.
Please note: Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administering medication in accordance with care plans and company procedures
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and promoting wellbeing
- Assisting with household tasks and daily living activities
- Encouraging independence while maintaining dignity, choice, and respect
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately
Shifts are expected to follow the below patterns: Hours are split between 7am-11pm (Morning, afternoon and evening calls). Please note that exact shift times are subject to confirmation.
Additional Information:- Up to 8 client visits per day
- A short 10-minute Microsoft Teams induction with the manager will be required prior to your first shift
