We are looking for a dedicated Wastewater Network Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out planned and unplanned repairs and maintenance on the wastewater network, ensuring a reliable and efficient service for customers.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
- Assisting in the repair and maintenance of the wastewater network.
- Working alongside an experienced Team Leader to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Responding to both planned and emergency works.
- Carrying out minor civils works, including excavation and reinstatement when required.
- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Using appropriate tools, equipment, and methods to deliver high-quality results.

Ideally, experienced in wastewater, drainage, or utility maintenance, though full training can be provided for the right candidate. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential, as this is a hands-on role that requires problem-solving and teamwork.
The ability to work well within a team is crucial, as you will be supporting an experienced Team Leader in delivering repairs and maintenance across the network. A valid driving licence is required, as would a CSCS card or other relevant industry qualifications. However, these are not essential, and we welcome applicants who are eager to develop their skills.
