An established and respected engineering consultancy in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design and MicroDrainage. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team working across a range of exciting development projects.
As a Senior Engineer, you will take the lead on the civil engineering design of infrastructure elements for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments. You will manage technical outputs, contribute to project planning, and mentor junior staff. The role offers a clear path to continued professional development and leadership.
Key Requirements:- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or similar)
- 5–8 years of relevant UK experience in infrastructure design
- Proficient in MicroDrainage (and ideally Civil 3D or PDS)
- Experience in roads, drainage, and external works
- Confident communicator with experience in client‑facing role
