To account for the activities of the group ensuring accounting principles and standards are adhered to and that financial information provided to management, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies is accurate.
By undertaking a varied role which includes statutory, joint venture, revenue and management accounting activities and ensuring the business successfully fulfills its financial and accounting obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory Financial Statements
- Assist with the preparation of Group Financial Statements
- Engagement with external auditors to support the year-end audit process
- Preparation of other financial information for external parties as required
- Management/financial accounting of all group entities including fixed assets, decommissioning provision, stock, and deferred income accounting
- Consolidation entries for group companies
- Revenue accounting for group assets
- Support tax manager regarding various tax matters
- Submission of non-audited accounts for smaller companies
