Location: This post will be based at Link’s Falkirk office, with travel required across various sites.

Hours of Work: 39 per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Plumber to join C~urb’s Planned Maintenance Bathroom team. The Plumber will be based in and working on our stock throughout Scotland and will be responsible for carrying out all plumbing works in tenanted and empty properties. All undertakings will be in line with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures.

We are looking for applications from time served plumbers who demonstrate high professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service.

The post will be based in C~urb’s Falkirk Office but there will be a requirement to work throughout Link’s areas of operation, therefore a driving licence is essential. The plumbers will be able to plan their own workload and work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met.

About You

As an experienced Plumber, you will have an NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in a similar plumbing role is essential and the postholder will have a sound technical knowledge of domestic plumbing systems including fault diagnosis and rectification.

You will have a sound knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact on method of work and customer needs. Knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care is required for this role and as Plumber you will also have knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials and installations.

This role requires a current UK driving licence.
