Your New Company

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a leading tax advisory team as an M&A Tax Associate Director, with a particular focus on the Private Equity market.

Your new role

As M&A Tax Associate Director, you'll take a senior role in the delivery of tax advice on private equity-backed transactions, working closely with clients, investors, management teams and other professional advisers. You'll lead and manage M&A tax assignments, including tax due diligence and deal structuring, helping clients understand the key tax considerations, risks and opportunities associated with a transaction. At Associate Director level, you'll have significant client exposure and take responsibility for managing projects and relationships, coordinating with other tax specialists and wider deal teams to provide joined-up commercial advice. Alongside client delivery, you'll have the opportunity to develop relationships within the Private Equity and wider deals market, support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the M&A tax practice.

What You'll Need To Succeed

You'll be an experienced tax professional with a strong background in M&A, transactions or corporate tax, ideally with previous exposure to transaction-related advisory work. You may already be operating at Associate Director level or be a strong Senior Manager looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career. You'll combine strong technical tax knowledge with commercial awareness and the ability to understand the wider dynamics of a transaction. You'll also be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, developing senior client relationships and working in the fast-paced environment that comes with M&A activity. Experience within the Private Equity market would be particularly valuable, although strong M&A tax experience combined with an interest in building further expertise within PE would also be highly relevant.

What You'll Get In Return

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a high-quality M&A tax environment, with exposure to sophisticated transactions and the opportunity to build your profile within the Private Equity market. You'll work alongside experienced transactions specialists, develop relationships with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of clients and assignments as your career develops. For a Senior Manager who has built strong M&A experience but is looking for greater responsibility, market exposure and a clearer next step, this could be a particularly attractive move.
