Overview
Position: LGV Driver at Inverness Concrete Plant, Breedon Group.
We are looking for an enthusiastic LGV Driver to join our team at Inverness Concrete Plant. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for driving and a keen interest in learning more about the construction materials industry. With a focus on delivering our products throughout the Highlands, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality. Full training on our products and processes will be provided, ensuring you\’re well-prepared to meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver concrete, coated asphalt, and aggregates safely and efficiently.
- Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and external customers.
- Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritizing the health, safety, and environmental standards of Breedon.
- Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
- Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A valid Class C License and a current Driver CPC.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A hard-working and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, with the availability for occasional nights and weekends.
