Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting Winter Patrol Drivers for seasonal positions across Scotland, supporting winter road maintenance operations throughout the colder months.
40 Hours 4 x on 4 x of - Overtime available.
The Role
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles on winter maintenance duties.
- Operating gritters and snow ploughs during adverse weather.
- Fitting gritter bodies and snow plough blades and spreading salt when required.
- Working a flexible rota including night shifts, standby and weather-dependent overtime.
- Working outdoors in challenging weather conditions while following strict health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with LGV Class 2 (Category C) entitlement.
- Previous winter maintenance or roadworking experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.
- Flexible approach to shifts, standby and night working.
These are fixed‑term seasonal positions, with potential opportunities for further seasonal work or longer-term employment for candidates who demonstrate commitment and reliability.
