Lusona is sourcing a highly motivated and experienced Group Financial Controller for a thriving service sector client. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function, manage a team of ten, and play a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Oversee all aspects of financial and management accounting for six Group companies, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end audits.
- Strategic Finance: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, manage cash flow, and provide insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions.
- Operational Involvement: Work closely with the Managing Director on various operational areas, including banking relationships, cash management, and HR.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including external reporting to banks and funders.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACMA)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a multi-company environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with Sage Line 200 (desirable)
