Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Parcel Sorters to join an established logistics and parcel distribution business based in Tannochside on a temporary ongoing basis, with rates rising to 15.01 per hour after 12 weeks.
Our client is an established logistics and parcel distribution business operating from a fast-paced warehouse facility.
What's on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- 7-hour shifts, starting between 2am and 6am
- Paid weekly at 12.71 per hour, rising to 15.01 after 12 weeks
As a Warehouse Parcel Sorter, Your Duties Will Include
- Loading and unloading delivery vans efficiently and accurately
- Picking and transporting customer orders throughout the facility
- Checking that all items loaded and unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors promptly
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean, tidy and well maintained
To be considered as a Warehouse Parcel Sorter, you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment
- Good physical fitness and strength
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
