This is an opportunity to work within a stable, professionally run practice delivering complex, large-scale projects across sectors such as commercial, education, public, healthcare and mixed-use. The work is technically demanding, well resourced, and offers genuine long-term career value.

They are seeking someone who wants real responsibility, meaningful involvement in projects, and clear scope to progress.

The Role

At Project / Senior level, this is a hands-on position with genuine autonomy. You will be involved across all RIBA stages, with a strong emphasis on coordination, delivery and leadership.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading projects or significant work packages from concept through to completion
  • Coordinating consultants and managing complex technical information
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Maintaining design quality while ensuring projects are technically and commercially sound

This role suits architects who are comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and leading from the front.

The practice

The Glasgow studio forms a core part of the wider practice and works on a broad range of high-profile projects. The culture is collaborative, grounded and professional - design quality is important, but so is delivery, buildability and strong client relationships. Teams are structured properly, workloads are realistic, and senior staff are trusted to run projects without unnecessary layers of approval or politics.

About You

They are open to ARB Registered candidates currently operating at Project Architect or Senior Architect level, ideally with:

  • Proven experience delivering projects through technical and construction stages
  • Confidence running packages or projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong Revit skills and experience working within a BIM environment
  • Clear communication skills with clients, consultants and internal teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Why consider this role?

  • Glasgow-based position with hybrid working
  • Exposure to large-scale, high-quality projects
  • Clear progression and long-term stability
  • A balanced approach to design and delivery
  • A respected practice that strengthens your project portfolio

This opportunity would suit someone looking to take on more responsibility, work on meaningful projects, and embed themselves within a well-run, established Glasgow studio.
