Role Overview

Recognised for its innovation, quality services and high performance, Queens Cross Housing Association is looking to appoint a Business Support Assistant within our Business Support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient front-line reception and customer service for the QC Group, resolving enquiries at first point of contact wherever possible.
- Provide a consistent meet-and-greet service for visitors, including issuing identity badges, managing sign-in/out and escorting to meeting rooms.
- Manage the safe, accessible and professional appearance of the reception area; coordinate groups and handle incoming/outgoing mail, goods and supplies in line with GDPR and corporate guidelines.
- Use digital systems (including QL) for routine information updates, contact creation, secure document handling and data entry; promote digital/paperless options.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Association, including occasional contact-centre cover, and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 6 months' recent experience in a busy front-line customer service role involving face-to-face contact with the public.
- Experience of accurate data entry and record-keeping using computer systems.
- SCQF Level 4 / Standard Grade / SVQ Level 1 (or completed Modern Apprenticeship) or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to achieve CIH Level 2 within 18 months of appointment.
- Competent user of Microsoft Outlook and basic Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel).
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, and to work flexibly (including occasional cover outside normal hours).
