Overview
Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG brand in their search for an experienced and dynamic Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role, working closely with key decision-makers to influence strategy and deliver financial excellence. As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing critical financial insights and analysis to support decision-making. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package and is based hybrid from the business\β Glasgow office as well as the opportunity to work for one of Scotland\βs leading FMCG brands.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to drive business performance and execute commercial strategy
- Provide financial analysis and ROI appraisals on new business opportunities and customer partnerships
- Support annual customer terms negotiations and joint business planning to balance growth and profitability
- Own end-to-end business performance management cycle including period close, forecasting and action planning
- Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and insights to support commercial decision-making
- Lead annual budgeting process with clear linkage to integrated business planning
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls across commercial operations
- Review and approve customer promotions, pricing agreements and investment decisions
- Represent Finance on key business projects and performance improvement initiatives
- Coach and develop junior team members while building financial capability across the commercial function
Qualifications
Previous Experience: We\\\βre looking for a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post-qualification experience and proven financial analysis capabilities. You should have demonstrable experience business partnering with operations teams in a commercial environment, with strong skills in financial accounting, business planning, management reporting and commercial understanding. Experience with accounting information systems is essential, along with strong negotiation abilities and people management skills. You\\\βll be someone who responds positively to change, acts on their own initiative, and collaborates effectively across teams to drive results. Strong business partnering experience, ideally within FMCG environments, is a must and will be assessed at interview stage.
