Field Service Engineer

The Role

  • Join the Customer Experience Team as a Field Service Engineer (full training provided).
  • Based at our modern facility near Glasgow Airport with regular travel to customer sites.
  • Install, service, and repair equipment across the UK and Europe (primarily DACH region, Italy & Spain).
  • Provide technical support in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Conduct on-site training for customers and colleagues.
  • When not travelling, work is based at our facility.

  • Up to 40,000 per year (negotiable DOE)

Standard working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Field Service Engineer
  • HNC in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
  • Strong attention to detail, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys fault-finding and implementing improvements
  • Confident in challenging existing processes to drive efficiency
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the business
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Customer-facing experience, with an open and friendly approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must-Haves

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Valid passport
  • Genuine passion for travel and engineering
