Field Service Engineer
A leading provider of automation solutions, supplying advanced manufacturing industries worldwide. Headquartered near Glasgow, this company design, develop, and export high-quality products, with 98% of their output serving clients across the world.
The Role
- Join the Customer Experience Team as a Field Service Engineer (full training provided).
- Based at our modern facility near Glasgow Airport with regular travel to customer sites.
- Install, service, and repair equipment across the UK and Europe (primarily DACH region, Italy & Spain).
- Provide technical support in person, by phone, and via email.
- Conduct on-site training for customers and colleagues.
- When not travelling, work is based at our facility.
Package & Benefits
- Up to 40,000 per year (negotiable DOE)

Standard working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Field Service Engineer
- HNC in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
- Strong attention to detail, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Enjoys fault-finding and implementing improvements
- Confident in challenging existing processes to drive efficiency
- Effective communicator across all levels of the business
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Customer-facing experience, with an open and friendly approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must-Haves
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Valid passport
- Genuine passion for travel and engineering
