An established and respected construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen their senior operational team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in housing projects, particularly within the residential or social housing sectors.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects across the East of Scotland, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage multiple housing projects simultaneously.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and Site Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and programmes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Identify and manage risks, resolving issues proactively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across operational delivery.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within housing construction.
  • Strong knowledge of residential build processes and contractual frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Commercially astute with strong cost control experience.
  • Able to manage multiple live projects effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
