Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.
Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality and engineering excellence, investing significantly in staff training and on-site facilities above the industry average.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position after a 3-month probationary period
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
- 17.00 per hour
- Overtime and bonuses available
- 33 days holiday per year
As An Electrical Engineer, Your Duties Will Include
- Installing and fault-finding 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Fitting lighting, marker lamps, beacons, reversing cameras, trackers and other ancillary equipment
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Carrying out vehicle and body electrical repairs and installations to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with quality standards
To be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:
- Experience in commercial vehicle body building and/or auto electrics
- Strong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Confident use of workshop tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with tail lifts, hydraulic systems or specialist commercial vehicle equipment is advantageous
