Help people stay connected, make their own choices and enjoy a better quality of life. At CrossReach, we’re recruiting Care Workers who understand that providing good care means looking beyond someone’s immediate support needs. You’ll help people with daily living while recognising their individual interests, abilities and preferences. From practical assistance to emotional reassurance, you’ll provide support that encourages confidence, promotes independence and respects each person’s way of life.
What you will do:
- Deliver personal and practical care in line with individual support plans.
- Support daily routines, meals, mobility and activities.
- Encourage people to maintain relationships, interests and social connections.
- Promote dignity, independence and informed choice in everyday situations.
- Monitor wellbeing, recognise changes and communicate concerns appropriately.
- Work as part of a team to maintain safe and reliable care.
About You:
You’ll bring a thoughtful, patient and respectful approach, along with the ability to listen, communicate and build trust. You’ll recognise that everyone has different needs and that good care involves understanding those differences rather than expecting everyone to follow the same routine. Previous care experience is welcome, but we’re equally interested in people who can demonstrate relevant skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to treating others with dignity. You’ll be dependable, comfortable providing personal care and able to work responsibly as part of a team. You’ll also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with training and support provided by CrossReach to help you achieve this. Relevant PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration requirements apply.
Why work with us?
