The Role
The Accounts and Business Advisory Manager will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, offering strategic guidance, reviewing financial reports, and identifying opportunities to add value. This person will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvement across the department.
They will be a visible and proactive leader within the team—bringing insight, direction, and clarity to client engagements while supporting the growth and development of both people and processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing expert, tailored financial advice.
  • Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management reports.
  • Translating financial data into actionable insights for clients.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Leading or contributing to departmental initiatives focused on efficiency and service enhancement.
  • Ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in both client work and internal processes.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:

  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
  • An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate financial insights.
  • Organised and adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, and passionate about developing others.
  • Motivated by purpose, with a continuous improvement mindset.
