The Role
The Accounts and Business Advisory Manager will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, offering strategic guidance, reviewing financial reports, and identifying opportunities to add value. This person will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvement across the department.
They will be a visible and proactive leader within the team—bringing insight, direction, and clarity to client engagements while supporting the growth and development of both people and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing expert, tailored financial advice.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management reports.
- Translating financial data into actionable insights for clients.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Leading or contributing to departmental initiatives focused on efficiency and service enhancement.
- Ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in both client work and internal processes.

- Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
- An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate financial insights.
