Commercial Contract Lawyer Permanent, Full Time Glasgow, Hybrid Salary up to £60k + benefits We’re currently partnering with a well known business based in Glasgow that is looking for a skilled Contract Lawyer to support their UK Legal Counsel on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong foundation in UK contract law to step into a key advisory position, helping shape commercial decisions and mitigate risk across a broad range of agreements. As part of a small but busy in-house legal team, your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (including service agreements and employment-related contracts). Ensuring all agreements align with current legislation and regulatory requirements, including data protection and employment law. Supporting the business with risk management through identifying and addressing legal exposure in contracts. Participating in negotiations with external stakeholders to secure favourable terms. Providing clear and practical legal advice to internal teams across departments. Managing contract records and supporting occasional dispute resolution processes. Offering ad-hoc cover and support to the UK Legal Counsel when required. What We’re Looking For: Qualified solicitor in Scotland with at least 5 years’ post-qualified experience. Strong background in contract law, ideally from an in-house environment. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills.
