Senior PHP / Laravel Developer – Contract
£350–£375/day | Outside IR35 | 3 Months | Immediate Start

We’re looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to join an established engineering team working on a successful global SaaS platform.
This is an initial 3-month contract and a genuinely hands-on development role. PHP and Laravel are at the heart of the requirement, so we need someone with strong commercial Laravel experience who can get into an established codebase and start contributing quickly.
You'll be developing and improving backend services and product functionality across a modern SaaS platform, including:
- Hands-on PHP / Laravel development
- Building and integrating REST APIs
- Working with MySQL and relational databases
- Performance, scalability and application improvements
- Automated testing with PHPUnit
- Contributing across Vue.js / TypeScript where required
- Working within an AWS, Docker, Git/GitHub and CI/CD environment
Strong commercial experience with:
PHP | Laravel | MySQL | REST APIs | PHPUnit | Git/GitHub
You'll ideally also have experience with some of:
Vue.js | TypeScript | JavaScript | AWS | Docker | CI/CD | SaaS
You don't need to be a frontend specialist – the priority is someone who is strong hands-on with PHP and Laravel and comfortable contributing across the wider application when needed.

Rate: £350–£375 per day
IR35: Outside IR35
Duration: Initial 3 months
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Location: Northampton – 1 day per week onsite
Remote: 4 days per week
