Our client is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic data transformation initiatives across a complex international business environment. This role will focus on delivering Data & Analytics programmes, Data Platform implementations, and business-critical transformation projects that enable better decision-making, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced business insight. Working across both business and technology teams, you will be responsible for driving projects from inception through to successful delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data initiatives, managing complex stakeholder groups, and overseeing data integration and transformation programmes. Whilst this is not a hands-on technical role, experience delivering projects involving modern data platforms, analytics solutions, and Azure Data technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics transformation programmes.
  • Manage Data Platform implementations, ensuring successful adoption and business outcomes.
  • Drive the delivery of data-driven change initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance.
  • Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Coordinate the delivery of data integration, migration, reporting, and analytics projects.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with business requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, stakeholder meetings, and project governance forums.
  • Oversee vendor and partner relationships to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support the rollout of regional and global data solutions across multiple markets.
  • Drive business readiness, user adoption, and change management activities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and programme stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience delivering Data & Analytics transformation programmes within complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrable experience managing at least one large-scale end-to-end Data Platform implementation.
  • Strong experience delivering projects focused on data transformation, business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data warehousing.
  • Solid understanding of data integration, data migration, data governance, and data lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working on projects involving Azure Data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of how data flows between systems and how integrated data platforms support business decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong project governance, planning, budgeting, supplier management, and risk management experience.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into successful project outcomes.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience delivering Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Analytics Transformation programmes.
  • Exposure to Power BI, advanced analytics, or enterprise reporting initiatives.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience within FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or other large-scale enterprise environments.
