We are now looking for an IT Field Engineer with strong 2nd line/3rd line support skills. We need to strengthen the support team and are looking for a Field Engineer to help support 2nd line and some 3rd line technical issues on and offsite for our customer base. As a Field Support Engineer, you’ll be used to supporting MS Windows Servers, Exchange, Active Directory, Azure, M365, Hyper-V, VMware, and Cisco Networks. This role will involve a split of WFH and field-based support across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role supporting servers, networks, printers, PCs, and applications, ideally gained within a field role.
- Proven experience of enterprise mainstream technologies and applications primarily focused on Microsoft products such as M365, Azure, Hyper-V, and Active Directory, as well as anti-virus and backup solutions.
- Experience with other enterprise mainstream technologies and applications such as Citrix, VMware, and Cisco is desirable.
- Relevant experience managing, maintaining, and supporting peripheral equipment including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and printers.
- Industry-recognized accreditations such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCA, and CCNA are highly desirable.
