The Financial Accountant will work with the rest of the S-RM Finance team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the output of the Group financials, with a strong emphasis on month-end reporting, working capital management and compliance.
Location
The role will be based in our Manchester office. However, we have flexible working arrangements available.
Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Working Capital Management reporting, including management of local banking facilities and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements across the S-RM Group.
- Working with practice/cost centre heads to provide them with accurate information regarding their business areas and to ensure compliance with S-RM company policies.
- Acting as a key contact for auditors as part of statutory audits.
- Providing financial analysis for ad-hoc projects such as acquisitions, scenario planning and business profitability reviews.
- Driving process improvements and tracking of key KPIs such as utilisation and revenue per team.
Qualifications
- Qualified chartered Accountant (preferably ACA qualified)
- Strong understanding of IFRS and working capital
- Experience with businesses operating in multiple jurisdictions would be preferable
- Strong excel skills, ideally with experience of modelling

Requirements
