THE ROLE
S-RM is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join our finance team during an exciting growth phase. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, evolving global organization. We seek someone adaptable, a team player, eager to grow with the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly Group Management Accounts
- Business partnering and involvement in budgets/forecasts
- Reporting and development of financial KPIs
- Ownership of balance sheet controls and reconciliations
- Managing statutory audits and liaising with auditors
- Financial analysis and modeling
- Managing tax and VAT submissions with external advisors
- Advising on accounting standards changes
- Global cash flow and treasury management, including FX
- Managing Share Option Scheme accounting
- Ownership of intercompany accounting
- Managing integration and setup of new entities
- Managing a small team
The role is based in our Manchester office, with flexible working arrangements.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We believe candidates with the following skills and experience are likely to succeed, though not all are mandatory:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience
- Full membership of a professional accounting body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Experience working with external stakeholders
- Proficiency with various finance software packages
- Experience in process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Comfortable presenting at senior levels
Note: Candidates must have permission to work in the UK by the start of employment.
