About the Role
SR Drivers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in Templecombe, Somerset, BA8. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for reliable, ongoing work with immediate starts available. The role involves trunking deliveries and collections, returning loaded trailers back to the depot. There is no handball, making this a straightforward driving role with consistent work.
Shift Patterns
- Day shifts: 05:30 - 06:00 starts
- Night shifts: 17:30 - 18:00 starts
- Monday to Friday
- Optional weekend shifts
- Ongoing work
- Ad hoc shifts available

Your Responsibilities
- Complete trunking deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Return loaded trailers to the depot
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times
What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude
