SR Drivers are currently recruiting experiencedHGV Class 1 (CE) Driverson behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based in Coventry (CV5). Our client has been manufacturing quality plastic household and garden products since 1978 and operates its own nationwide distribution fleet.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable Class 1 drivers looking forongoing, full-time weekday workwith a reputable company.
The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Trunking between distribution centres and company depots
- Delivering and collecting loaded trailers
- Trailer swaps
- Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
- No handball involved
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Start times from04:00 onwards
- Ongoing work available
- £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
- £17.93 per hour including 12.07% accrued holiday pay
- Weekly pay
To be considered, you must have:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
- Professional and reliable approach to work
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Ongoing Monday to Friday work
- No handball
- Weekly pay
